Upgrading of two eastern parks to begin

Upgrading of Beare Park at Elizabeth Bay and Kings Cross Rotary Park will start this month after City of Sydney Council approved tenders for both sites.
Plans for the work have been developed in consultation with the local community.
Two car parking spaces will be removed to connect the parks, ageing palms will be replaced, and new paving added in places.
Fountains will be preserved and refurbished and a new garden added to Kings Cross Rotary Park.
The repair of the amenities block will be done separately.
