Trophy Eyes – Chemical Miracle

With every album release a band puts out into the world it is a chance for them to hit that much revered grand slam which shoots them into the upper echelon of music. On the flip side however, it can just as easily ruin a legacy.

Fortunately for Trophy Eyes, their latest offering Chemical Miracle slants slightly more towards the former rather than the latter. While the record has some hits, particularly with opener ‘Chlorine’ and later ‘Breathe You In’, it also has a number of swing and misses.

Overall this is another solid outing for the group, which at least keeps them safe.
