Jessica Mauboy announces new album and 2024 national tour

Australian pop icon Jessica Mauboy reveals details about her upcoming album Yours Forever, set to release as a 14-track collection on February 9, 2024. To celebrate the announcement, Mauboy released her new single “Give You Love” featuring a collaboration with international superstar and The Voice co-host, Jason Derulo.
“The collaboration came together quite magically, like beautiful, glistening, crystal-clear water flowing together. When we sent the song to WILSN and she heard my voice on the track for the first time, she burst into tears”, Mauboy recalls. While filming for the upcoming season of The Voice, Mauboy knew she wanted fellow co-host on the track. “Jason is such an incredible singer and he’s got such a deep soul and spirit. He grew up singing in church and was classically trained, so I had no doubt he would sound amazing on this special song.”
Written and recorded here on home soil, Yours Forever reflects the singer’s journey to self-discovery, exploring themes of love, hope, heartbreak and resilience. “[It] is me at my truest self, comfortable in my skin, not comparing myself or trying to be someone or something that anyone expects me to be,” said Mauboy. “When you strip it all back, musically it’s beautiful melodies, storytelling lyrics, rhythms that connect with the soul, and it has a depth that I’ve never gone to or shared before.”
The new album follows Mauboy’s 2019 #1 ARIA album Hilda and is her first full-length release with Warner Music Australia.
In addition to the album’s release, Mauboy also announced her Yours Forever national tour, scheduled to kick off in March 2024. The tour will span 22 dates across regional and metro cities, including a final show in Auckland on May 11. The singer also has a few performances scheduled for later this year, including the Yarrabah Music and Cultural Festival in North Queensland.
With six top 10 albums, fifteen top 20 singles, four ARIA platinum-selling albums, and thirty ARIA nominations under her belt, Mauboy has already established herself as a prominent figure in the Australian music scene. The announcement of her upcoming album Yours Forever, is poised to further elevate her already remarkable achievements.
