A new Australian cast has been announced for the return season of SIX the Musical, which will play at Theatre Royal Sydney from October 9, 2026.

The production, which reimagines the six wives of King Henry VIII as pop performers, will feature Sarah Murr as Catherine of Aragon, Mia Paris Scalise as Anne Boleyn, Cara Bessey as Jane Seymour, Kadesa Honeyhill as Anna of Cleves, Angela Brischetto as Katherine Howard, and Lorinda May Merrypor as Catherine Parr.

Murr, originally from Townsville and a graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium, has previously appeared in Australian productions including Les Misérables, Hadestown and & Juliet. Scalise, a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, will make her professional stage debut in the production. Bessey, a graduate of NIDA, has theatre credits including Mary Poppins and Sister Act.
Honeyhill previously appeared in MAMMA MIA! and TINA: The Tina Turner Musical, while Brischetto made her professional debut in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Merrypor is known for her role in & Juliet and has also appeared in productions including Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and The Sapphires.

The cast will be supported by swings Lauren Goetz, Geena Hutton, Thalia Smith and Cristina D’Agostino, along with an on-stage band led by music director Claire Healy.

Producer Louise Withers said, “We are thrilled to introduce this extraordinary new cast of Queens—each bringing their own unique talent, energy and individuality to these iconic roles.”

“The passion and energy of the SIX audiences and fans are such a vital part of what makes this show special, and we know they are going to absolutely love this dynamic new cast.”

“As SIX returns to Australia, it offers a fresh opportunity for audiences to experience the show’s irresistible blend of history, humour and high-octane pop—whether for the first time or all over again while also discovering something entirely new with this incredible company.”

Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, the musical presents an 80-minute concert-style retelling of the lives of Henry VIII’s six wives. The Sydney season begins in October, with tickets available now.
