You Don’t Have To Be A Seinfield Fan To Love ‘I, Julia’

Lily Hensby is caught in a dilemma.
She is star-struck by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who plays Elaine in Seinfeld, and wishes to emulate her.
She is staging I, Julia in the hope that “Elaine” will turn up and congratulate Lily on her portrayal of the Seinfeld comedienne.
In the process, Lily tells us about her struggles as an actor. She is 30 years old, she has been performing for 10 years, she loves being on the stage and is determined to make a go of it.
Her audience was with her all the way as she called some of them up on stage to read a short script with her, or asked individuals from the audience to perform a dance step.
You don’t have to be a Seinfeld fan to appreciate and support Lily’s aspirations and to laugh along with her as she tickles your funny bone for the duration of the relatively short show.
Go catch her act at the Fringe venue of the Erskineville Town Hall, and appreciate this engaging and talented entertainer.
I, Julia runs from 23 – 27 September at the Emerging Artist Share House in Erskineville Town Hall as part of the Sydney Fringe Festival. Buy tickets here.
