TOBY MARTIN – LOVE’S SHADOW
Such a beautiful, sad, melancholic, weighty record – not exactly Triple J fodder and didn’t get the attention it deserved because of that. We have a real problem for our in-between music artists in this country. You’re simply not allowed to be over 30 and still considered relevant, which is a pity because it’s when so many are at their peak, and I cant help but feel that a huge audience of mature music lovers has been abandoned to talk radio when they would love to know about great albums like this… (TE)
