SEVEN DEADLY SINS & SCAPIN’S PRANKS

SEVEN DEADLY SINS & SCAPIN’S PRANKS

Why is it the French language is so delightful even to non-speakers? The Sydney French Theatre is bringing audiences two performances over April and May with both plays showing surtitles. First off is 7 Péchés Capitaux (The Seven Deadly Sins), a humorous look at the struggle between good and evil, and the seven short plays will take you on the journey of temptation. Next is Les Fourberies de Scapin (Scapin’s Pranks) an adaptation of Moliere’s last farce in its original language and structure. Audiences can expect a cabaret-style performance involving dancing, singing and lots of laughs. (ES)
