A REPORT to Crime Stoppers last month by an anonymous caller alerted police to the alleged supply of cannabis and methadone from premises in Alexandria.
Inquiries by police from the Region Enforcement Squad, Redfern, led to police executing a search warrant at the Alexandria residence, where they seized a small amount of cannabis and a number of other items.
Police also arrested a man in Redfern after a search on his vehicle led to the alleged discovery of a small amount of amphetamines.
He was charged with supply and possession of a prohibited drug.
He has been granted bail and is due to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on June 26.

A MAN is before the courts in relation to the alleged stabbing of a man outside a Kings Cross nightclub.
About 2.30am on June 1 an 18-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to his chest and arms outside the nightclub in Kellett Street.
The victim is still being treated for his injuries in St Vincents Hospital and is currently in a stable condition.
A 23-year-old man was arrested in Bourke Street, Surry Hills last week and taken to Kings Cross Police Station where he was charged with wounding with intent to commit grievous bodily harm.

POLICE have arrested a 34-year-old Surry Hills man in relation to alleged robberies on elderly women throughout Sydney.
Strike Force Wintercorn was set up to investigate a series of robberies on women aged between 60 and 98 within the St George area and other Sydney suburbs.
After inquiries by officers attached to the strike force, charges have been laid in connection with three incidents during April. The Surry Hills man was taken to Ryde Police Station where he was charged with aggravated robbery with wounding, robbery and aggravated enter dwelling and commit robbery. He is now before the courts.

A MAN has been charged with Mid Range PCA after he was found to be in charge of a yacht on Sydney Harbour on June 3.
About 2am, Water Police were conducting patrols at Elizabeth Bay, near Garden Island when they observed a 35 foot yacht heading north with no navigation lights and only a single masthead light illuminated.
Police stopped the poorly lit vessel and the master was spoken to. Further investigations were conducted and the master of the yacht was submitted to a breath test which returned a positive reading.
The 25-year-old man was taken to the Marine Area Command, where he was subjected to a breath analysis and returned a reading of .014. He was charged and is due to appear at the Downing Centre Local Court on the June 30.
The yacht was towed by Water Police and secured at Athol Bay.
