HOT TIX: FOR A BETTER WORLD
Griffin Theatre certainly has a penchant for mash-up. Their revamped Stables Theatre debut of 2010, Quack, threw A Country Practice, Deadwood and some fake blood into a rather unappetising blender. For a Better World promises healthy (or not-so-healthy) doses of Predator, Alien and Apocalypse Now. It’s hard to imagine how a better world could boast all three, but then maybe they’re being ironic (the playwright is German, after all). Let’s hope so. (AB)
