DirtyFeet launches inclusive contemporary dance workshop program

Not-for-profit contemporary dance organisation, DirtyFeet, launches their inclusive contemporary dance program, The Right Foot, this November. The 3-day workshop offers a professional dance opportunity for young people with and without disability.
The program is designed to foster creativity and physicality among individuals aged 16-30, with a focus on building both individual and collective strength. Participants are encouraged to explore their own unique styles and voices through creative movement, with a team of experienced dance teachers. The program provides a safe and accessible environment for young people to discover and develop their creative potential.

The 2023 workshops will be led by professional gymnast and dancer, Chris Bunton, and dance artist, Gabriella Green-Olea. The program led by both teachers will focus on performance technique and creative development.
“The Right Foot has helped me grow my skills in dance, creativity, leadership and collaboration,” says Burton. “I always love my time with DirtyFeet. It has given me increased confidence in my life both in and beyond dance.”
The program’s workshop is spread across 3 days, with participants provided the opportunity to showcase their skills to in a professional theatre at the end of the series. Registrations are now open through the DirtyFeet website.
