British indie and pop-rock sensation Declan McKenna is set to perform “down under”
in early January 2024. McKenna will grace the stage next year at the Enmore
Theatre in Sydney and at the Forum in Melbourne for his long-awaited live tour.

Following the release of his first song, “Little Pieces”, in 2013, McKenna went on to
write the smash hits “Brazil” (a protest on the 2014 FIFA World Cup) and “British
Bombs”. His popular studio album, “What Do You Think About the Car?”, was
released in 2017, and now his 2024 tour will promote his upcoming album, “What
Happened to the Beach?”. McKenna’s new album is set to drop on Friday, 9
February.

The new album will have a vibrant tone and colour, filled with quirky and warped-
sounding tunes. The recently released singles featured on the new album are titled
“Sympathy” and “Nothing Works”, both of which portray McKenna’s gleeful mood and
joyous experiences. “What Happened to the Beach?” is focused greatly on space
and atmosphere, creating a summery and warm sensation for listeners.

After McKenna’s visit to Australia, he will head to London’s Alexandra Palace to play
his largest headline show to date.
