CHARLIE & LOLA’S BEST BESTEST PLAY

CHARLIE & LOLA’S BEST BESTEST PLAY

Parents prepare your holiday schedules as Roman Stefanski’s latest production, Charlie & Lola’s Best Bestest Play promises a magical experience fit for even the toughest little critic.

Making its Australian premiere at the Opera House on the 17th of December, Lauren Child’s beloved Charlie and Lola will be sure to deliver 55 minutes of enchanted viewing, during which the scope of Lola’s imagination and Charlie’s good nature are explored to their fullest extent.  Stefanski  has created an enthralling blend of familiar characters with humorous dialogue that will inspire curious first time theatre goers and parents alike.

Adapted by  Jonathan Lloyd, the play sees responsible older brother Charlie and his precocious little sister Lola come to life on the stage as two-dimensional puppets in front of a visually faithful backdrop of rainbow hues and tot-friendly music.

Budding thespians will find this production every bit as charming and honest as Child first penned.
