CELEBRITY THEATRESPORTS

CELEBRITY THEATRESPORTS

It’s a night of improvisation and comedy with the chance for all involved to play tribute to the wonderful land that created sangria, flamenco, and Julio Iglesias. Celebrity Theatresports is back and this time it’s embracing all things Spanish. As usual the line-up features some great Aussie talent including writer, commentator Peter Fitzsimons; Rockwiz and Eurovision host Julia Zemiro; singer and TV presenter Monica Trapaga; top-rating ABC breakfast radio presenter Adam Spencer; comedy geniuses The Umbilical Brothers; comedian and Good News Week regular Claire Hooper and more. Celebrity Theatresports only happens once a year and all proceeds go to CanTeen; an Australian organization for teenagers with cancer. In the vein of Whose Line Is It Anyway? and Thank God You’re Here, theatre-goers can expect fast-paced comedy (sans scripts) with the chance for audiences to suggest comedy scenes to the stars themselves. And as an added bonus celebrities will share stories from their own lives before their tales are transformed into improv skits. Mucho Gusto! (ES)
