Celebrity TheatreSports returns with an entertaining comedy fundraiser

Impro Australia will host its annual charity hit performance at Enmore Theatre this month. The renowned Celebrity TheatreSports event will feature various celebrity guests, all joining together for an evening of spontaneous theatre and hilarious improvisation.

Celebrity TheatreSports 2023 will comprise an entertaining range of fun and games to support the best of causes. The funds raised from the entertainment will be donated to Canteen Australia in support of young people aged 12-25 suffering from cancer. The primary goal of the event is to empower young people through the humorous art of comedy.

Australia’s wittiest comedians will be sorted into teams and battle head-to-head to win over the crowd. The team with the highest amount of audience laughs and giggles will be awarded the desired Celebrity TheatreSports Cup. A panel of judges will also be present at the event to help decide this year’s comedy winner.

The appeal for this event remains in the fact that it is highly unpredictable. At Celebrity TheatreSports, there is no rehearsal, no preparation, and no limitations. Anything is possible on stage when a mix of highly engaging comedians join forces. At Celebrity TheatreSports this year, household Australian names including Wil Anderson, Nikki Britton, Amanda Keller, Adam Spencer, and many more are set to perform.
