
Festival of Mosman returns

From the picturesque shores of Balmoral Beach to the secluded bays around Mosman to the outstretched peninsular at Middle Head, Festival of Mosman 2023 promises ten days of vibrant cultural celebrations and family-friendly activities. With plenty of events on the horizon, this year’s festival is set to be a memorable experience for all.
Kicking off the festivities is the Festival Opening Concert. Featuring performances by local schools, community groups, and the Royal Australian Navy Band, Sea State Seven, it promises an evening of classic and contemporary rock and pop against the backdrop of the stunning Balmoral Beach sunset.


Throughout the festival, locals and visitors will be treated to the wonderful mix of nature, art, history and culture that this pocket of Sydney has to offer. The arts program features an exhibition by Ken Done, works by Meng-Yu Yan and Anna May Kirk, and Sue Gaston, plus the prestigious Mosman Art Prize and various public art works.
OctoberFeast Night Market, Pet’s Day Out, a First Nations cultural event, Dinner on the Green, and outdoor cinema nights. In addition, the festival will promote environmental awareness.


Get up close to the gorgeous landscape with easy outdoor activities, including: kayaking, paddle-boarding, walking tours, and snorkelling. Build your fitness with pilates and zumba.
Enjoy Hunter Valley wines beside the ocean; shuck an oyster or two; enjoy mouthwatering Italian cuisine.


One highlight is the Pet’s Day Out, where furry friends can join in the fun. Featuring Dr Katrina Warren and the Wonderdogs entertainment shows, Temptation Alley with Farmer Dave Graham and The Muttley Crew, performances by Dancing Dogs R Us and DOGA (Yoga with your Dog) class by Rancan Sisters Fitness.
Get competitive with your pet for some fun and great prizes: Animal Fancy Dress, Egg and Spoon race and There’s No Such Thing as the Dog Poo Fairy race.
