ZOMBIE STRIPPERS

This is the kind of movie you watch between your fingers, peeking around to see if everyone else is as embarrassed as you are. It’s a low-budget sexploitation vehicle for ex-porn star Jenna Jameson and faded horror icon Robert Englund (Nightmare on Elm Street). A biological agent designed to produce soldiers who can keep fighting after death gets loose in a strip bar with unexpected results. The girls become super-sexy, and even though they have a tendency to eat their clients alive, there’s always more coming in. There are attempts at irony, but the camera lingers on the breasts too long to mistake this for anything classier than smut. If you like strippers and you like zombie movies, you might like it. But frankly, you’ll probably just feel dirty. Funny how many serious critics turned out for the preview’ (Lachlan Jobbins)
