Noël Sydney is a Christmas activation that transforms Macquarie Street and the Royal Botanic Gardens into a magical wonderland. It includes a series of free events and activities that you can experience in one night or spread over a number of visits.

Start at Hyde Park Barracks with a beautiful lazer projected animated telling of the beloved classic, The Nutcracker. From here you can follow the Noël Light Trail along Macquarie Street, enjoying more sound and light displays on the historic facades of The Mint, Sydney Hospital and the State Library.

The trail brings you to Shakespeare Place at the entrance to the Royal Botanic Gardens where The Sweet Way will take you into Candyland and down to the Sweet Palace (aka Conservatorium of Music) where you’ll encounter storybook scenes and characters.
