Wonderfully Terrible Halloween

How about trick and treat?

Wonderfully Terrible Things delivers both in equal, evil measure: sweet delights and mind-boggling feats of sorcery in a night as thrilling and unpredictable as Halloween itself. It’s a blend of circus, burlesque, cabaret, and aerialism, where gravity and decency are defied.

Led by the queen of the dark arts, Christine Ibrahim, this troupe of performers will literally bare their all and play with fire, simply for your pleasure. From sensual strip-tease to awe-inspiring aerial routines; thrilling feats of balance to mesmerising tests of endurance. Wonderfully Terrible Things has it all…and then some.

Ibrahim scours the Earth and the underworld, seeking out unique, sexy, outrageously talented artists who can’t wait to fly their freak flag. Ibrahim herself is a wonderfully talented thing, composing and performing wickedly clever songs and holding the audience in her thrall with witty banter.

The Things will perform their last show of the year this Saturday at the Vanguard. Guests will be welcomed with a glass of bubbly. Make an effort with your Halloween attire and you could win a prize valued at over $250.

Like the tormented souls who rise for one last revel on All Hallow’s Eve then disappear into the darkness, the Things will have one last night of giving delirious pleasure before disappearing for a spell.

So, if you have never seen Wonderfully Terrible Things before then you must see this show. And if you have seen them before, then you must see this show – because no two shows are ever exactly the same.

You have been warned.
