What’s so funny? Sydney Comedy Festival!

By KYE ANSON
Despite the rumours you may have heard, Judith Lucy is not quitting stand-up, as she joins comedy veterans such as The Project’s Peter Hellier, Kaz Cook and new age comedian Reuben Solo for this year’s Sydney Comedy Festival.

Hoo could pass up an opportunity to see the likes of Lizzy Hoo, featured in the Prime Video comedy special Hoo Cares?, or the fierce and funny Gen Fricker, or Emo Majok who shares his unique immigration experience through his raw comedy.

Another comedy all-star set to join the line-up is none other than Gold Logie winner and host, Tom Gleeson, known for his appearances on This Week Live, many seasons of Hard Quiz, and Skithouse. Alongside him and many others are the unapologetic and brutally hilarious Reuben Kaye, New Zealand comedian and Director’s Choice Awards winner, Melanie Bracewell, and Scottish journalist turned comedian, Fern Brady.

There are over 750 comedians performing at the Sydney Comedy Festival, making it the largest comedy festival to date.
