Trolls World Tour
An all-star cast headed by Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake (who reprise their roles as Poppy & Branch respectively) lend their voices to the sequel of Trolls (2016), which is anticipated to be another enormous box office hit from DreamWorks Animation.
There are six troll tribes in the land, each categorised by the music they favour; funk, country, techno, classical, pop and rock. Queen Barb, the ‘queen of hard rock’, is on a mission selfishly announcing that after her world tour there will only be one nation of trolls under the music of rock.
Meanwhile, Queen Poppy plans the troll’s biggest musical party ever and a lesson is learned that music should unite not divide.
This delightful high energy ‘happy film’ about family, love, and music should be a holiday favourite, alluring families back into cinemas. It’s cute, the animation is visually dazzling, and the singing and dancing may compel audiences to ‘get up and rock hard’ in the aisles!
Adults should also enjoy this film which sends out a message to listen to others even when they don’t agree because all the differences make the world a better place. (MMo)
