TOMMY FLEMING – BEGIN
Known as “The Voice of Ireland” with a 20-year career in the music industry, expectations are high from Tommy Fleming’s latest album, Begin. It comes after significant personal tragedy and the emotion in his powerful, yet tender vocals is palpable. However, this isn’t an album full of sadness. In fact, it is a hopeful journey and Fleming has been very selective in the songs on Begin. Full of Irish flutes, sweeping ballads and a hint of lucky charms, listeners would be remiss to write this off as a typical Irish album. Listen closely and give due respect to a talented artist and his heartfelt musical offering. (LL)
