THE TRANSATLANTICS – FIND MY WAY HOME

Adelaide ten piece The Transatlantics have produced a startlingly authentic throwback to the soul, rhythm and blues pioneered by Motown and Stax Records. Find My Way Home approaches the iconic 1960s pop style with the same vigour and attention to detail that Amy Winehouse and Sharon Jones were able to achieve (with the support of The Dap Kings) and although The Transatlantics lack the same irresistible energy that the aforementioned acts were able to commit to tape, the record is delightfully warm and references the genre incredibly well. It would be an emphatic addition to your summer music collection.
