THE SHINS – PORT OF MORROW

It seems you can always count on at least one classic track on a Shins album. And to be honest, I’m picking this album on the strength of ‘It’s Only Life’, the perfect ballad I could listen to ad nauseam, but the single, Simple Song, was great too, and the rest of the album delivers cascading melodies and clever pop craft, and thankfully isn’t as sunny as their previous records.
