THE CONJURING

The Conjuring is based on true events and tells of the horrors the Perrons (Ron Livingston and Lili Taylor) and their children experienced in 1971 when they moved into a Rhode Island farmhouse. The dark presence was prevalent and increasingly disturbing events prompted them in desperation to seek help from paranormal investigators Ed & Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga).

This is one of the scariest and most realistic horror movies in recent years with elements from The Exorcist and The Amityville Horror.

The effective and well-paced script will have audiences glued to their seats anticipating the next fright. It’s dark, sinister and overflowing with the usual clichés attached to horror films which will deliver audiences an enjoyable scream-fest. (MM)
