Take a sleigh ride through a magical wonderland featuring a variety of festive performances, with The Christmas Spectacular coming to the State Theatre this December.
Featuring performances from musicians, dancers, aerialists, and magicians, this feast of entertainment is perfect to kick off the festive season. This holiday show brings Australia’s best performers, taking inspiration from Christmas classics, including the Radio City Rockets and The Nutcracker.
The incredible line-up of performers includes RnB Soul vocalist Prinnie Stevens. After showing off her magnificent vocal range on the reality singing competition The Voice, Stevens has become a renowned name in Musical Theatre.
From her roles in various theatre productions, including The Bodyguard, Hair and Rent, Stevens continues to show her unique vocal stylings and artistic depth every time she hits the stage. Joining the Christmas Spectacular, Stevens will evoke the Christmas classics from Mariah Carey. In homage to the queen of Christmas, Stevens’ vocal styling and charisma will keep you hooked.
Master illusionist and magician Michael Boyd will also bring his mind-boggling skills to the Spectacular. His enticing acts on Australia’s Got Talent have led him to join cabaret and Vegas-style productions around Australia, keeping audiences at the edge of their seats.
Boyd will deliver Christmas magic to the show, performing his renowned illusions and disappearance ticks, all with a festive twist.
Along with Stevens and Boyd, Australia’s leading showgirl performers will grace the stage throughout the night. Many dancers have stood on renowned cabaret stages, including the Moulin Rouge and the Lido, well prepared to take on this fabulous 90-minute showcase.
