SEX, DRUGS AND HERBAL TEA – TOMMY LITTLE

Tommy Little is one of the most original comedians of his generation and will return to the Comedy Store with his show Sex, Drugs and Herbal Tea.

Little, the host of Television’s This Week Live and A League of their Own, will perform his show “about being young and dumb” for one night only.

“If people want to learn anything from their comedy this is not the show to see,” says Little, “If you want to come and have a laugh it’s a great time.”

Sex, Drugs and Herbal Tea was such a success at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival that extra shows had to be added and Little explores the inconsistencies in the behaviour of his generation.

“My generation, like any generation before, has partied and acted up but now there’s a funny element of well-being mixed in as well,” he says.

“So you can party all weekend, not sleep and then you think you’re looking after yourself because you go to a yoga class or have a glass of green tea.”

Little is looking forward to returning to the Comedy Store and says, “It’s a beautiful venue. It’s nice and intimate and there’s really not a bad seat in the house.” (PG)
