Sarah’s successful career has expanded to award winning achievements including an Emmy and two Golden Globes. She is no stranger to the world of theatre, being a part of the STC’s Saint Joan’s performance in 2018 and many more live productions.

The inspiration behind adaption of Oscar Wilde novel

This theatrical adaptation of Irish writer Oscar Wilde’s novel unveils a witty lively modern production that incorporates a fresh perspective on the world-renowned piece.

Immersing the art of live performance, this re-envisioned interpretation of the novel will see Sarah Snook perform her way through all 26 intricate personalities, that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats.

Picture of Dorian Gray stage adaption in high demand

After the first opening in Sydney 2020, the show received five star reviews, extending the season to meet the interest of the public.

The show made its way to London earlier this year, and there has been a high demand for the production to make its way to Broadway, after the screenplay was well received by critics.

The Washington Post gives their review conveying “it is so revolutionary, remarkable and dazzling you’ll think you’re gazing into the theater’s future”.

The New York Times also expressed a positive review. “A darkly funny triumph. Brings this timeless tale into our century”, they said.

In this variety performance as a solo performer, Sarah has astounded audiences with their immersive storytelling and witty charm, bringing an unforgettable experience to the big Broadway stage.

The Picture Of Dorian Gray will open at a Shubert Theatre in March 2025 for a limited time only.
