Sarah Snook in Syd Theatre Company’s Picture of Dorian Gray coming to Broadway
Award-winning Aussie actress Sarah Snook will be debuting in the Australian theatre show The Picture of Dorian Gray on Broadway next year.

As popularly known from her role as Shiv Roy in the hit series Succession, Sarah will play 26 characters in this magnificent production directed by Artistic Director of Sydney Theatre Company, Kip Williams.
Sarah’s successful career has expanded to award winning achievements including an Emmy and two Golden Globes. She is no stranger to the world of theatre, being a part of the STC’s Saint Joan’s performance in 2018 and many more live productions.

This theatrical adaptation of Irish writer Oscar Wilde’s novel unveils a witty lively modern production that incorporates a fresh perspective on the world-renowned piece.
Immersing the art of live performance, this re-envisioned interpretation of the novel will see Sarah Snook perform her way through all 26 intricate personalities, that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats.
Picture of Dorian Gray stage adaption in high demand
After the first opening in Sydney 2020, the show received five star reviews, extending the season to meet the interest of the public.
The show made its way to London earlier this year, and there has been a high demand for the production to make its way to Broadway, after the screenplay was well received by critics.
The Washington Post gives their review conveying “it is so revolutionary, remarkable and dazzling you’ll think you’re gazing into the theater’s future”.
The New York Times also expressed a positive review. “A darkly funny triumph. Brings this timeless tale into our century”, they said.
