RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN
Jack Bruno’s day radically changes when two strange teenagers get into his cab. Seth and Sarah are from outer space and have a mission to save their planet and Earth. It’s not going to be easy. The government has noticed their arrival and plans to capture them, while an alien assassin wants them dead. Skeptical at first, Jack, the ex-con with the heart of gold, decides to help and protect, no matter what the cost. While there are some memorable moments, Race to Witch Mountain lacks the usual Disney magic and offers nothing fresh. In the end it’s possibly what you’ll expect. In a film this fast and action-packed, there’s not much time for anything but a few laughs and thrills (MP).
