Sydney’s favourite harbourside food and wine celebration is back, with Pyrmont Festival returning to Pirrama Park on 23–24 May 2026 for a weekend packed with flavour, music and community spirit.

Now in its 14th year, the free-entry festival has become a mainstay of the city’s events calendar, bringing together more than 25 wineries, breweries and distilleries from across NSW. Visitors can sip their way through standout producers including Hungerford Hill, Tamburlaine Organic Wines and Scarborough Wine Co., or sample spirits from boutique distilleries such as Karu Distillery and Pants Off. Craft beer lovers won’t miss out either, with local favourites like White Bay Beer Co. and Ekim Brewing pouring fresh, hoppy brews.

On the food front, the lineup is equally diverse. Festivalgoers can dig into paella from Sofrito Paella, handmade pasta from The Gnocchi Way, and premium cuts from Wagyu Blacks. Street food favourites like dumplings, fried chicken and souvlaki will be in abundance, while sweet tooths can line up for The Famous Berry Donut Van—a perennial crowd favourite.

Beyond the plates and glasses, Pyrmont Festival offers a full weekend experience. Families can make the most of the Kids Fun Zone, complete with face painting, a jumping castle and mini golf, while live performances from acts like Jo Fabro and Crown Jewel Band will keep the harbourside buzzing across two stages. Visitors can also browse artisan produce stalls, with everything from gourmet olives and salami to chocolates, honey and small-batch condiments on offer.

Festival Director Alex Gibbs said the event offers a unique way to experience regional NSW without leaving the city. “Sydneysiders can leave the keys at home and go on a statewide road trip,” he said, highlighting the opportunity to discover new drops and meet the makers behind them.

With waterfront views, a dog-friendly atmosphere and a packed program of food, drink and entertainment, Pyrmont Festival once again delivers a vibrant snapshot of the state’s best—right on Sydney Harbour.
