Opera Australia costume clearance!
Dress like your favourite opera hero or grab some priceless memorabilia. Opera Australia is holding its third clearance sale, with massive amounts of stock being sold to make room for new creations.
“Our last two clearance sales have been remarkably popular, selling out on both occasions. This is another fantastic opportunity for fans to become the proud owners of specific, incredible costumes and accessories that have had a life on the stages of the Arts Centre Melbourne, the Sydney Opera House and other venues around the country,” said Opera Australia’s Wigs and Wardrobe Manager, Rebecca Ritchie.
Over 2000 hand-crafted pieces from dozens of productions will be available for purchase: wigs, capes, dresses, breeches, corsets, hats, armour – everything from peasant rags to royal attire to historic army uniforms to fantasy costumes.
From as little as fifty cents you can own a piece of theatre magic.
Opera Australia props and costumes are designed and created by leading industry artisans and made with expertise from excellent fabrics and materials.
