Lost & Found

Lost & Found is a collection of true encounters, revealing monologues and striking scenes, performed by senior members of the Kings Cross Actors. In the six years since this acting class/troupe of actors over 65 years old came together a number of members have gone on to perform at the Sydney Opera House, in international films and also on Australian television.

This week however, following two successful productions the members of the Kings Cross Seniors Acting Class will again be teaming up with with director and actor Suzi Dougherty (Home and Away, The Kettering Incident) and writer Katie Pollock (The Hansard Monologues, A Quiet Night in Rangoon), to create a performance work that investigates and celebrates the joys we can find in the face of loss.

The hope is that with Lost & Found the group can demonstrate the skills within us all to present stories in both entertaining and engaging ways. As such hosting these shows in The Wayside Chapel was a no brainer as the venue itself is a beacon for fostering an awareness and acceptance of different worlds that surround us all every day.

Mar 12-13, 2pm. The Wayside Chapel, 29 Hughes St, Potts Point. FREE.
