Kids will love Wolfgang’s Magical Musical Circus
Riverside Theatres invites audiences to indulge in a classical and thrilling family show during these school holidays. Directly from the original score to the stage, the life of Mozart will be featured in a musical performance fused with a circus style twist.
The on-stage show will highlight the main character’s two lives, an ordinary dart-playing man named Wolfgang, and the musical genius famously known as Mozart. Through vibrant composition, physical comedy, and mischievous antics, the spirit of Mozart will be revealed.
Classical musical scores have been reinvented specifically for this magical circus show, catering to audiences as young as three years old. A live accordionist will be present in the stage production, performing a mix of eccentric sounds relating to the show’s storyline. To accompany the accordionist, a range of sounds from various musicians will bring the renowned classical compositions to life alongside traditional circus mayhem.
The performance will feature daredevil artists from Circa Contemporary Circus, showcasing tumble and crash movements to contribute to the overall circus feel. Circa is one of the world’s leading performance companies, having toured worldwide across 40 countries and performed for over 1.5 million people since 2004.
