JUSTIN TOWNES EARLE – NOTHINGS GOING TO CHANGE THE WAY YOU FEEL ABOUT ME
It’s hard enough to carry the Earle name, without dad Steve thinking it might be cool to bundles Townes (as in Townes Van Zandt) for extra expectation. Revenge comes in the way of the albums first line: “I hear my father on the radio singing, ‘Take me home again.'”. Love scarred folk and blues, along with some Stax-Volt horns make this Justin’s finest moment to date. (CP)
