ISHU – HAND MADE

Melbourne-based beat producer ISHU drops a head nod-inducing sophomore record entitled Hand Made and it’s a deft continuation of his debut statement of intent 2010’s A World in Progress. Yet while World was inspired by the Sydney-born producer’s overseas adventures; Hand Made sees ISHU drawing inspiration from his new home in Melbourne making it a carefully crafted blend of urban inspired grooves and seething electronic synths. Couple that with a lengthy list of capable MCs like Mighty Joe and Jeswon (Thundamentals) and you’ve got yourself one absorbing disc of beat therapy.
