Officially opened in 1985, the Glen St Theatre was built to service a growing population in the French’s Forest region of the upper north shore. With a 400-seat auditorium, spacious stage and large foyer area, the theatre accommodates a number of local activities including school productions and community events.

Glen St Theatre is the most prominent theatre on the upper north shore and attracts mainstream productions from company’s around the country. Shows that play at larger theatres in Sydney’s CBD often have a season at Glen St. It has also debuted shows that have gone on to enjoy success at theatres around the country.
