Twelve of the world’s best award-winning Motocross riders joined forces on Saturday night to present an incredible indoor action-packed show which redefined the word ‘excitement’, leaving thousands of astounded fans at the Qudos Bank Arena chanting for more!

International and local champion athletes included legend Robbie Maddison, Rob Adelberg, Pat Bowden, Brayden Davies and Ryan Williams, who performed death defying acts leaving audiences at the edge of their seats. Robbie’s 12 year-old son Kruz who wants to follow in his father’s footsteps also performed stunts on the night.

The riders performed double backflips, front flips, side by side jumps and world first stunts, reaching heights of more than 75 feet for one astonishing act. Fire-breathers, loud music and pyrotechnics complemented the show, two commentators compounding the excitement with their knowledgeable presentation and comical edge.

Large screens in the venue displayed several videos about the Freestyle Kings as people started to fill the venue, and were also utilised to provide close up footage of all the stunts as they were being performed.

What audiences may not realize while watching an extreme sport show such as the Freestyle Kings is that many years of learning and practise are required to achieve professional status in this dangerous ‘craft’ which has left most riders with fractured limbs at the very least.
