Bandaluzia’s Flamenco Fire is ready to ignite passion and pain to the Darlinghurst Theatre Company stage, for one-night-only this October 19.

Bandaluzia Flamenco Company’s new performance brings their unique perspective to the cherished Argentine Tango music of Astor Piazzolla. Sentiments of love and loss are expressed through the physical rhythmic flow of Flamenco, accompanied by heartfelt nostalgia from Tango music.

Presented by Live at Yours, in collaboration with Darlinghurst Theatre Company, Flamenco Fire is apart of the October launch of Live at Darlo. Providing Flamenco a new opportunity to flourish, the performance represents a triumph of the internationally renowned music and dance.

Live at Yours founder & artistic director, Vladimir Fanshil, explained the significance of bringing Flamenco back to the stage.

“When concert halls closed because of the pandemic, a desire for off-line performances was ignited,” said Fanshil.

“The most profound things were expressed softly. Our deepest connections with music happened up close, giving meaning to pain and beauty to the mundane,” Fanshil continued.

“The world has since returned to its fleeting normality but we are overjoyed to be able to offer this unforgettable experience again at the cosy Darlinghurst Theatre.”

The intimate theatre will provide a alluring performance setting, with audiences hearts set match the beat of the eloquent stomping and evocative music.

“The graceful 200-seat salon will enfold you into the vibrations made by Australia’s finest musicians,” Fanshil explained.
