Located behind an unassuming doorway and guarded by flaming torches in the heart of trendy Darlinghurst is Slide, a playground of decadence and delight.

Every Wednesday for three weeks throughout their Christmas in July celebration, Slide is presenting their new enchanted show, El’Circo Blanc. The elegant stories created by Creative Director Marc Kuzma transport the audience into five Russian-inspired fairytales, with a five-course degustation menu to warm the stomach as well as the heart.

Performer Catherine Alcorn, who plays Babushka the narrator, promises culinary delights and soaring vocals with stunning sound and lighting, “You step into another world when you step into Slide. Life in here is beautiful,” she says.

The interactive show features magic and eye-popping aerial silks, “There may even be a snow storm,” Alcorn adds mysteriously. “It will be very, very special.”

The El’Circo circus cabaret series has been wowing audiences for over four years with a theatrical dining experience, and Blanc is set to exceed already high expectations with exquisite dreamlike performances and a tantalising accompanying menu.
