Drink it all in at Pyrmont Festival

It’s finally here! The Pyrmont Festival of Wine, Beer, Food and Art kicks off in Pirrama Park this weekend with two days of festivities.

Wine makers from 15 wineries around NSW, food trucks and stalls, gourmet and artisan merchants, sweet treats and lots of other tasty delights will be on offer in this great big, family friendly picnic.

This year, the festival will also feature three boutique breweries and a distiller.

The Grifter Brewing Co is a small brewery in a repurposed industrial building in Marrickville. Owned and run by three guys who love beer, The Grifter produces a range of brews, from fruity to pale to stout and more, all in stylish tinnies.

Yulli’s Brews is located in Alexandria and is run by two mates who were inspired to make beer that would nicely accompany food as well as be satisfying drunk on its own. They now have a delicious, bespoke range of beers which each comes in a fun, collectible can.

Willie The Boatman has its base in St Peters and produces a great range of uniquely flavoured beers in funky-designed cans. They even sport a young Prime Minister Albo on one of their tinnies.

The breweries will be pouring drinks inside the delightful pop-up beer garden.

Brookie’s Byron Gin returns to the festival with their aromatic, distinctive gin. The distillery based in Byron Bay has garnered a fan base in Sydney and they’ll have bottles for sale at the festival.
