Australian dance afficionados will already recognise Splintergroup as one of the most intriguing and creative collaborations to emerge in recent years. Their latest production, Roadkill, draws on the dreams, myths and ghosts of the desolate Australian outback to explore the psychology of isolation, vulnerability and fear. This intense and stunning piece of dance theatre maintains the unorthodox traditions of Splintergroup’s previous work, relying on a high level of physicality and irregular movement.
