COMEDY: JOSH THOMAS

Josh Thomas is not like other comedians. Young, sweet, and with a wide-eyed sense of fun, he is a welcome change from the bitter, angry comic, who we so often see. His show is called Things I Have Said Before and is a composite of all his funniest jokes, although he insists it is not a best-of as, “That implies a certain standard which I’m uncomfortable committing too.” Self-deprecation and boyish charm aside, this Josh has a razor-sharp wit and he knows the value of clever comedy, and while cute, and occasionally rude, he is never crass. Although for him no subject is taboo. “You can talk about whatever you like, if you do it cleverly, if you say the right things about them.” Like your little brother only funny, this is a guaranteed good night out.
