The third Children’s International Film Festival (CHIFF) comes to Sydney with a selection of the finest children’s films sourced from the most prestigious children’s film festivals globally.
After the socially inept year we’ve all had owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, families will be anticipating quality time out at the movies and this festival has a film for all tastes, most of which are Australian premieres.
Australian 1995 box office hit Babe is the perfect film to revisit for all its glory and colour on the big screen and children can come along dressed as their favourite barnyard animals!
Another film which should prove popular is the modern German re-telling of the classic tale of Lassie Come Home ,which screens at the festival nearly 80 years after the original film premiered in cinemas. (MMo)
