Chet Faker announces headline East Coast tour

Australia’s own Chet Faker is set to make a return to the stage in October this year. The upcoming concerts will promote the artist’s new single, “Something Like This”, and additional hits will be performed from his 2021 album “Hotel Surrender”.

Chet Faker last played to a full crowd at the Sydney Opera House in 2015, and five shows in his hometown in Melbourne. This year, he will perform at Enmore Theatre Sydney on Tuesday 10 October, Palais Theatre Melbourne on Thursday 12 October, and Fortitude Music Hall Brisbane on Saturday 14 October.

The award winning Australian artist first gained recognition in 2011 with his cover of Blackstreet’s “No Diggity”. In 2013, Chet Faker collaborated on an EP with Australian sensation Flume, and then released his own debut studio album titled “Built On Glass” in 2014. Chet Faker’s album reached number one on the ARIA charts that year, along with three singles from the album entering Triple J’s Hottest 100.

Following his initial success, Chet Faker has performed worldwide at leading festivals, including Coachella in California, and Lollapalooza in Berlin. The artist made a return in 2020 with the release of his single “Low”, followed by the Hotel Surrender album, making Chet Faker a global sensation.

The artist’s return down-under is highly anticipated amongst Australian fans.
