BOMBSHELLS

“I’m a failure and a fraud, and everyone can see through the lipstick,” so says the first of six vibrant characters that Sharon Millerchip plays in BOMBSHELLS. The scene is set for a brilliant script to be brought to life by a skilled actress.

Written by acclaimed playwright Joanna Murray-Smith, BOMBSHELLS explores the inner worlds of six very different characters. From a teenager competing in a school talent show and a bride-to-be with cold feet, to a middle-aged cabaret singer and a frantic mother of three, the many anxieties, fears and stresses of being a woman are explored, with black humour and a script that cuts to the core.

Joanna Murray-Smith has written a bombshell of a play, and Sharon Millerchip is no less than dazzling, making it one you will want to recommend to all of your friends. (LG)
