30th annual Parkes Elvis Festival

When January 8th rolls around each year, thousands of Aussies make a pilgrimage to the regional town of Parkes NSW to celebrate a very special birthday; that of rock and roll legend Elvis Presley.

The annual Parkes Elvis Festival has announced a packed line-up for it’s 30th anniversary coming January 2023. Next year’s event will be themed around Presley’s most successful box office film, Blue Hawaii, which came out in 1961.

More than 25,000 people are expected to head out to Parkes for the mega music event.

The Blue Hawaii-dedicated celebrations will include the return of favourite events such as Goodsell Machinery Miss Priscilla Dinner, Northparkes Mines Street Parade, Renewal of Vows ceremony and Festival markets. 

Two world title tribute artists to take the stage

California based Elvis tribute artist, Dean Z, will hit the stage to perform all the classics. Dean Z was named the world’s greatest Elvis tribute artist by the Elvis Presley Enterprises back in 2013, and still brings a stellar act to this day. 

Along with Dean Z , the 2022 winner of the world title, Victor Trevino Jr, will be performing at the Parkes Festival from January 4. 

The event will be jam packed with all the most passionate Elvis artists from around the world.
