Women assaulted in Surry Hills
Surry Hills Police have issued a warning for females to be aware of their personal safety following two alleged sexual assaults.
In the early hours of last Saturday, a 20-year-old female informed investigators that she’d allegedly been sexually assaulted by a man of possibly Asian appearance at an unknown location.
In another incident that morning, a 25-year-old female was sexually assaulted in a Foster Street alcove by two men of Asian appearance.
Both women were taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Investigations are underway into both incidents.
Anyone with information about the circumstances surrounding either incident, or who saw two males acting suspiciously in the vicinity of Foster Street last Saturday, should contact Surry Hills Police via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
