If you have young children, or you’re young at heart, this offering of Kenneth Grahame’s delightful story will entrance you.

You will find the familiar characters –  Ratty, Mole, Badger, Otter, Portly, and Mr Toad – on the riverbank where they live.

Mounted by the Australian Shakespeare Company, this outdoor theatre production, which is celebrating 21 years, is led by Head Chief Rabbit, who will not only transform the young audience into rabbits with a wiggle of the ears and a wiggle of the nose, but will encourage the youngsters to scream and shout and sing along as the story progresses.

As the seating is picnic-style, you are invited to bring along your picnic blankets, wet weather gear, sun protection and any food or drinks you wish to consume as you watch the show.

But remember, you will have to pick up sticks and follow the show as it moves to different locations.
