Wind in the Willows breezes through Gardens

What’s not to like about a picnic in Sydney’s beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens on a balmy January evening while the kids are entertained by familiar and beloved characters? That explains the continued success of the Australian Shakespeare Company’s production of The Wind in the Willows now delighting children until January 23.

The singing and dancing shenanigans of Rat, Mole, Badger, Otter, Portly and of course, Mr Toad, bring to life Kenneth Grahame’s immortal story of life on the riverbank. But the adults are not overlooked with many of the puns, jokes, and certainly the choice of seventies and eighties pop songs, squarely aimed at amusing mums and dads.

So pack your favourite picnic goodies and head for Toad Hall for a relaxed early evening within sight of Sydney Harbour. Book on 1300 122 344.
