The Wind in the Willows in the Gardens
Kenneth Grahame’s classic tale of The Wind in the Willows (1908) will be portrayed in a fabulous production at the Sydney Royal Botanic Garden. Glenn Elston’s stage adaptation of the popular novel will be showing this summer in January 2024, delivering Australia’s best loved outdoor entertainment.
The critically acclaimed theatre production follows the story of Mole, Ratty, Badger, Mr Toad, Head Chief Rabbit, and more. These renowned characters will be brought to life to encourage young audiences to join in on the action. At this event, screaming out loud, singing along to the tunes, and becoming part of the adventure is a must.
The production is arranged as a seated picnic event in the heart of the beautiful botanic gardens. All patrons are welcome to bring along any desired food or drinks, as well as picnic blankets, wet weather gear, and sun protection. The show is an interactive display for audiences young and old, and will venture into multiple locations throughout the story.
