The Graduate featuring Jerry Hall

The Graduate featuring Jerry Hall

American model and actress Jerry Hall will be heading to Sydney to play seductress Mrs Robinson in The Graduate. This will be the last time Hall reprises the role.

The Graduate is based on the 1963 novel by Charles Webb, which sees Benjamin Braddock, a fresh college graduate return home. He doesn’t know what he wants to do with his life and is trying to figure it out. One day he meets Mrs Robinson, his parent’s friend and a bored housewife who seduces him. Things start to get complicated as Benjamin starts to fall in love with Mrs. Robinson’s daughter, Elaine.

Hall is excited to be playing Mrs Robinson for the last time in Sydney, as she loves the city.

“I am so thrilled the stars have finally aligned and I am bringing the sultry Mrs Robinson to Sydney,” she said. “As this will be the last time I play this role, it makes the Sydney season very special to me. I have always loved Sydney so I am very much looking forward to returning next year with this amazing production of The Graduate and to spend time in your glorious city.”

Tim Dashwood will be playing Benjamin Braddock along side Hall. This version of the production has been performed at Broadway, West End, Toronto and Perth, just to name a few.

The Graduate will play a strictly limited season in December 2016. (AMal)
